Sudden death match, which I won on the first extra hole - whew.
Rob and I battled it out on a nice breezy, sunny day at Autum Valley. My snap was nowhere to be found early on and I found myself 3 down with 3 holes to go. Rob was shooting a fine game. Then my luck turned around and I won the last 3 holes when Rob's luck went sour. All even after 18, so we went back to hole 1. I chipped in from the rough and Rob barely missed his putt. Great match Rob.

Ahh Larry, you missed the best of the story....Lar is correct when he went looking for Mr. Snappy and gave me all the slack that it should take to win a match...but somebody forgot to tell me it takes all 18 Rob...
Shot of the match was Larry on 16...you know the 300YD dogleg over the trees...well Larry flops a D1 across the leg but catches a tree and is left with a blind shot from behind a tree....and then somehow he smacks an iron thru the trees and it rolls to within 7 feet of the pin...and this is not your regular pin...this baby is tucked in the back with the green sloping away....damn near impossible to get close even with a good fw lie.... Consequently, this amazing shot shook up Rob and he couldnt covert bird....
It was truly a wonderful match....just what would be expected on a fine challenging course with the graces of a fine marksman...thanks Lar for the ride and good luck against the Jughead.......My advice is to try and stay out of the trees though.
