Jamaica upset the Canadiens in high scoring nail-biter in the quarterfinals. The game was knotted 4-4 at the end of regulation and was decided by a four player shootout, which was won by the Jamaicans 3-1. Matt B. continued his offensive tear scoring a hat trick in regulation and adding a goal in the shootout bringing his olympic total to 6. Lauren W. and Jennifer M. scored 2 and 1 goals respectively, one each in the shootout. Garrett S. scored a hat trick and Mike B. 2 goals for Canada but it was not enough to hold off the Jamaicans. Jamaica will face of against South Africa in the Semifinals next.
