The Usual Suspects |
| Despite the extreme difference in seedings and fairly large margin of victory, the game was close until the last ten minutes, where The Usual Suspects pulled away with its top-notch ending. Philadelphia put up a good fight, but it was not to be. The fact remains that no 16th seed has ever knocked off a 1st seed in any competition. Mike Gillis helped us kick off this tournament as a special guest judge. Kevin Spacey's acting performance as "Verbal Kint" earned him the game's MVP. Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington proved to be a formidable duo for its opponent, but The Usual Suspects proved too tough, and will enjoy the honor of taking on the winner between Cinderella Man and The Truman Show. |
