IHA defeated Pascack Valley 3-2.
After 7 scoreless innings, it went into extra innings. Pascack Valley went up 2-0 in the top of the ninth. With no out and a runner on first for IHA in the bottom of the ninth, the field was cleared due to thunder for a thirty minute rain delay. When
play resumed, IHA got another hit and then IHA pitcher Christina Miguel hit a 3-run walk off homerun to win it in the bottom of the ninth. |
