Trying out our first episode recorded entirely at a beer event, the event being Dark Lord Day, of course. (this didn't exactly work out, as described in the episode)
This week we've got a couple reasonably low abv stouts, one dry, one sweet. Tune in Sunday to hear the results.

A four star beer Steve drank at home the day after the brew pub shoot out.
Contemporaneous comment: "A good recovery beer, and one of the best regular gravity stouts out there, bar none."

A four star beer steve drank at his sister nora's place at the university of chicago, after an absolutely lovely dinner or breaded pork tenderloin, and at the beginning of a night of many new beers entering the beer quest 2009 rolls.
Contemporaneous comment: "This beer has something going on that is hard to put your finger on. Almost fruity, but not really. In any event, roasty, pleasant, a damn fine stout. 4 stars."
