Both these men were known for their deadly submission moves, and this match showcased them, it was a seasaw match were both men wore eachother down physically and mentally, Flair gained the edge when he locked in his patented Figure-4-Leglock, but Hart refused to submit and got to the ropes, later in the match Hart went for the Sharpshooter but Flair made an amazing counter into another Figure-4, Hart again made it to the ropes. After the second figure 4 Hart could barely walk, and Flair continued to attack his injured knee. Flair then went for a third figure-4 and nailed it, but Hart was quick to turn over and reverse the pressure, Flair was quick to let go, but immediatley following that Flair went for a 4th Figure-4 on the prone Hart, but Hart raked the eyes and somehow stood up and applied the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring, Flair tried to get to the ropes but Hart pulled him back. The pain was too much for Flair to take and he tapped out. Hart won via submission in 37:01.
