The battle of 34 was a back and forth affair until the 6th when Goose Goslin put the Tigers ahead for good with a 2 run HR. The Tigers really knocked Dizzy around in this game he looked good after 3 allowing 1 hit and he may have gone on to a great game like 1st round game but the Tiger bats woke up and knocked him for 6 runs on 15 hits.
