Well the first game of the 3rd round began with the best hitting offense of the earlier rounds Vs the best pitcher of the 1st 2 rounds.
The Hitting won this one the Giants had 4 runs on 11 hits when Mays had 2 shutouts and only 8 hits in th first two games, maybe he was tired ??
MVP Bowerman was 3-4 with 2 runs scored.
