PRINT TIP #1: BROWSER COMPATIBILITY
We recommend Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape's Navigator, versions 4 or higher for either one. We cannot guarantee compatibility with older browsers. For example, it is a known fact that Netscape 3 does not print the bracket lines because it does not print background colors.
PRINT TIP #2: GETTING THE LINES TO PRINT (IE USERS)
If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer and the bracket lines aren't printing, make sure you have selected the option to print background colors. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not yet had the good sense to include this setting in the print options popup, but you can get to it by going to Tools, then Internet Options. Next, click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the "Printing" section, which is the third from the bottom. Check the box labeled "Print background colors and images", and you should be all set to go.
PRINT TIP #3: HOW TO FIT ON A SINGLE PAGE
If you are having problems getting a large bracket to print all on one page, first try reducing the size of the fonts in your web browser. (In MSIE, go to the View menu, then Text Size. In Netscape, select Edit, then Preferences, then Appearance/Fonts.) Also, check your margin settings, and if the bracket is wider than it is tall try printing in landscape mode (both of these are in the print options popup). If you are the publisher of the bracket, try using abbreviations if possible. You can always put the complete details in the bracket notes (click on Edit Tourney Info).
