Bracket Notes: For consistency, let's agree on some house rules: 1. Break from far side of table behind head string. (2nd dot) 2. The table is open until a called shot is made. Even if you pocket a ball on the break. 3. Call every shot. If a trash shot results in a pocketed ball your turn is over. 4. Never remove a pocketed ball (except for cue, of course) 5. On a scratch, place the ball behind the head string (2nd dot) 6. On a foul, it's ball in hand. Place the ball anywhere on the table. 7. If you scratch on the 8-ball, put it in the wrong pocket, jump the 8-ball off the table, or foul when pocketing the 8-ball, you lose.
