Resident Evil 4 |
| Though we have not seen it in action yet, Resident Evil 4 is bound to be a beast. If Metal Gear Solid 3 can make the finals the year after it's release, RE4 should be able to pull the same. Street Fighter 2 may be one of the stronger games in the lower tier, but Resident Evil 4 should cut right through it. |

| Few games have climbed the popularity charts as fast as Resident Evil 4. Released a few months before the creations of the GR top 100 list, RE4 still grabbed a top 20 spot. And we can assume that it's popularity has only gone up. It's debut apperance in the showdown should impress much like MGS3 did in 2005. |
