Tetris reminded everyone it was here and was capable of getting votes, as it trounced 'newcomer' Fable in the first round. This time, however, it may not be able to hold nostalgia over another old timer in Goldeneye. Both games supply tons of great memories for many gamers, and still provide entertainment today. A tough call, but it's clear which one got more love in the seeding.

What can I say? Decade after Decade of time can't wear down Tetris's fanbase. It doesn't have the best time in Showdown's, but it's got fans who will support it. Seeing how it does should be interesting.

I don't think anyone saw Goldeneye's rank coming. But gamers didn't forget their FPS console roots it seemed. Remembering how much fun they had with this simple classic, it was voted over both Halo's and Perfect Dark, not to mention many PC shooters. No doubt it's a force to be reckoned with.
