Halo |
| Halo, the ultimate underachiever, made quite sure it would finally make it out of the first round without getting humiliated with a trouncing of Mario Kart. But if it wants to really live up to its billing, finally, it will have to continue on. Perfect Dark ran Diablo 2 into the ground, and continues what is a fairly recent explosion in popularity. There's certainly the possibility of an upset here, as both games are relatively similar and SFF could kill Halo. |

| In the making of the top 100 list, Perfect Dark fans came out of the woodwork to support it to the top 25. Last year it let down a bit, leading me to believe it's been overseeded by gameposters who don't participate in the showdowns. It's still probably quite strong, but not 6 seed worthy. |
