| FFIX has had a good cinderella run, but it will probably stop here. It just probably will not have the power to compete with the greatness and nostalgia of Mario 3. Mario 3 got back on track last round and should finish higher than it ever has before. |

| FFIX didn't get alot of love in the top 100 game contest, but that just means it's underseeded. It can draw from the final fantasy fanbase reasonably well, and for this reason should be better than its seed. |
