| Not our best game by any means, but Kc stayed cool and played a great 3rd quarter. Cowboys blew a chance early to take it to the half with a 17-7 lead. Facing fourth and one from about the fifteen with :55 to go in the half, Dallas passes up an open receiver, and the opportunity to roll an open qb around the end, instead throwing the boneheaded cross-field pass that was ultimately batted away by the ILB. Jets take second half kickoff down the field and score; a very well executed drive. Cowboys get the ensuing kickoff, run a weak series on offense, make a bad call going for it on fourth down in their own territory. Kc makes a great stop, and I believe scores the very next play. The fourth quarter proved to be meaningless with the Cowboys going for the cosmetic TD late only to fumble the ball away allowing the Jets an opportunity to run the clock out. Jets throw the pick, and Cowboys decide to run out of bounds to end the game. |
