Both players chose for their "unusual" side here, with ice being an allies specialist and EB the opposite.
Game was extreme, in the way that EB almost wanted to concede in round 5, after losing Donetsk, but reconsidered and managed to swing the game.
It ended in round 9 with the UK in Istanbul, maintaining a Russian/UK black seas fleet with control of the Aegean and some push towards Greece, US/UK in Madrid(US), Finland Russian, Leningrad German, Donetsk Romanian, but exhausted (like the Russian side there), an allied landing in Scandinavia and the UK fleet in sz25.
Was a great game against a most pleasant opponent. |
