What has gotten into the Vikings defense as of late. They haven't allowed a touchdown in these playoffs. Holding the high powered Rams to just a field goal. Kurt Warner threw for just 183 yards and a INT.
Minnesota held a 13-0 halftime lead. The Rams got thier lone field goal in the 3rd quarter. But Andrew Glover caught his first touchdown pass of the tournament to give the Vikes a 20-3 lead. Anderson added a field goal to make it 23-3.
Randall Cunningham was named player of the game, he threw 241 yards on 22 of 29 and 1 touchdown.
The Vikings defense sacked Warner 4 times, and held Marshall Faulk to just 60 yards rushing on 15 carries. 77 total yards for Marshall vs. 171 total yards vs. the Steelers. Minnesota vs. Buffalo at the Metrodome for a spot in the final four. |
