But the ground game would come to life at that point. Terrell Davis had to work for his 96 yards on this night, but he hit the end zone twice. He also caught a touchdown.

Terrell Davis was named the MVP for the third stright game. He carried the ball 36 times for 96 yards and two touchdowns. He caught 1 pass for 6 yards and another score.

Jerry Rice had 9 catches for the losers. While Rod Smith caught 9 passes for 130 yards for Denver.

John Elway played solid football, 17 out of 24 for 230 yards and 1 score.

Denver plays the winner of Minnesota and suprising Buffalo. If Buffalo wins the Semi-Final game will be held at Mile High. Otherwise Denver travels to the Metrodome for the game.
