Tonight is wasn't Minnesota's high powered offense that won this game. It was their solid defense that allowed them to move on to the next round. The Vikings held the Boys to just 6 points, on 2 field goals. Randy Moss caught a touchdown pass, and ran on to the end zone as well. However, Michael Irvin, was named the MVP of the game in a losing effort. Irvin caught 11 passes for 153 yards.
Cowboys struck first and took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. Then Randy Moss caught a 6 yard touchdown pass from Randall Cunningham. Moss ran in a score just before halftime. In the 2nd half, Robert Smith put the game out of reach witha 6 yard run of his own. The Vikings and Rams will clash in a battle of high powered offenses. You gotta believe that the defenses and which one decides to show up, next week. |
