bayder (Allies) defeats prosser (Axis +8) by surrender in G10.
While both sides experienced both good and bad luck, the Axis tended to get their bad luck when it involved air units, which set them back early.
The game was fast and furious, with Russia attacking Germany's Karelia stack, and UK destroying the German Med fleet in round 2. Allies were able to stack Kar, but eventually Germany forced them out and stacked it themselves.
Japan struggled to get going, with all three Allied powers making small attacks and defensive holds throughout Asia and the Pacific. Meanwhile, USA was able to wipe out the Japan fleet that had entered the Med, and soon secured Egypt and most of Africa.
Germany continued to push east, and eventually took and held Cauc, forcing the Russians to pull everything back to Moscow. But in doing so, UK and USA were able to land heavy in Western Europe and take and hold Southern Europe.
In round 9, UK sacrificed everything they had to weaken Berlin enough so that USA could take the capital, despite the Japanese air that flew in to help.
With Moscow secured (barely), the Axis powers graciously surrendered.
