bayder (Allies) defeats Blasherke (Axis, bid 9) by surrender in round 8.
Axis placed in Africa, but early bad results in Egypt all but eliminated their advantage there. Allies were quick to seal Africa and Karelia, while Germany was able to stack WEur for a short time. Japan mopped up islands, but was slow to get established in Asia. After two costly, but effective, double-taps on German inf/ftr stacks, Germany was just too depleted to defend Europe. With UK and USA closing in on Berlin, the Axis generals graciously surrendered.
Thanks to Blasherke for a fast and fun game! |
