Score: 7-1
Winner: Sylphina
Name: Sylphina
Seed: #4
User Name: Cahb42584
Name: Sylphina
Status: Heroine...eventually.
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Description: Sylphina stands at 5'8 and obviously has tan skin given her Gerudo heritage. She prefers to wear her long red hair free and let it reach her shoulders. Her eyes are brown and she has a slender build. Sylphina usually wears a loose tan tunic and brown moccasins. She keeps her swords visible at her sides as well as her bow and arrow set on her back.
Background: Sylphina was the daughter of the mighty Gerudo General, Ilana. As a child, Sylphina showed natural fighting talent. The fact that her own mother spent time training her also increased her skill. Sylphina learned to wield a pair of twin scimitars and became the youngest gerudo to ever complete the training grounds. Naturally, Sylphina's skills went right to her head. She often picked fights with others to prove she was the best. Sylphina also gained a sister, Dalaine, a few years after she was born.
Dalaine was Sylphina's opposite, she respected the rules and traditions of the Gerudo Race and maintained a great deal of pride in her mother. Dalaine wanted to one day become a great general like her mother. She even specialized at the Halberd which was her mother's weapon. Sylphina became a free spirit and was quickly growing bored with the Gerudo Fortress walls. The two often fought against each other. Dalaine was determined to take Sylphina down a few pegs. However, Sylphina has won every single match. Ilana died of illness when the girls were in their teens. She had taught Sylphina everything she could but was only halfway through Dalaine's training. Sylphina decided to be hard on her sister. She came up with the theory that if Dalaine could one day beat her, she would have gained the remaining knowledge she missed. Sylphina will never make it easy on Dalaine though.
At age 18, Sylphina ventured out into the world. She knew that if she stayed in the fortress her skills would never improve. During her travels, she discovered a fairy trapped in a skultula web. Sylphina felt some pity for the creature and freed it. She would forever call this act, 'mistake #1'. The fairy, Panira, was eternally grateful and decided to journey with Sylphina. Panira has always acted as Sylphina's conscience whether Sylphina likes it or not. Most times, Sylphina winds up yelling at Panira for cramping her style.
Game featured in: The Legend of Zelda: Generation of Fate
Famous Quote: "Shut up, Pain...or would you like to go back into the bottle!"
Attacks: Sword Fury - Sylphina launches herself towards her opponent and slashes at an amazing speed. She lands behind the target and glances back to see the effect of her attack.
Shadowmeld - Intensive training in the gerudo fortress has allowed her to use magic to hide her appearance from others. However, it only works when she remains still. She usually uses this technique to make the enemy expose their back to look for her.
Ice Arrow - The sign that she had completed her training. No Gerudo should be without it.
Name: Nana Te'fesfeyja
Seed: #13
User Name: Cahb42584
Name: Nana Te'fesfeyja
Status: Misunderstood Heroine
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Description: Nana is 5'9 with a slender build. Her skin complexion is tan and her eyes her black. One of the oddities about her is her naturally violet hair which extends to her shoulders. Her ears are semi-pointed, an indicator that she is only half-elven. She has two small curved horns on the top of her head. She inherited them from her father who was a half-demon. Nana carries her father's spare greatsword on her back. She wears a violet leather armor and matching pants. Usually she'll keep a brown hooded cloak to hide her horns whenever she enters a town. She completes the outfit with a redish-brown traveling boots.
Attacks: Blade Strike - Nana channels magical energy into her blade and slams it into the ground. The wave of energy travels along the ground in a straight line until it hits a target or fades out.
Background: Nana was born in a small secluded elven grove. Her father, Gerand, was a wanderer because of his heritage. When he defended the grove which was under the attack of bandits, the elves living there managed to look beyond his blood and accept him into the community. He married an elven woman named Regina. Nana admired her father's strength. He worked as a mercenary so sometimes he would leave the grove to return with great tales of the outside world. Nana desired to have her own adventures one day. She often pretended to do so in the forest around the grove. One day, she found an injured panther cub in the woods. She brought the cub home to tend to its wounds and searched for its mother. Nana soon discovered that the mother was killed by a group of hunters. Nana took care of the panther and the pair have been inseparable since then.
When Nana was ten, her father left on another assignment but he never returned. She never found out what happened to him and desired to find him. Regina refused to let her run off and this started the teenaged years that turned Nana into a smart-mouthed slightly arrogant girl. Although the two of them fought for eight years, Nana still loved her mother and could understand the reasoning behind it. Her mother had tried to teach Nana magic in the hopes the long hours of study would take her mind off leaving the grove. This only fueled Nana more until she finally received her mother's permission to leave the grove at 18. She took her father's spare greatsword and has been traveling with her panther, Forin, ever since then.
Game featured in: Neverwinter Nights. While lost in the Neverwinter Woods, she stumbled upon the hero of Neverwinter. Like many others, the hero had thought Nana was a demon given her horns. The two dueled and eventually wore each other out. Nana explained quite adamantly that she wasn't some monster sent to kill the hero. The hero questioned why she didn't say so in the first place. Nana just laughed, "I wanted the challenge." Nana asked about her father but the hero hadn't heard of him. Nana left a healing potion and continued on her way.
Famous Quote: "Touch the horns and I'll break your wrist."
