Geoffrey & Louis of the Elite Whist Society Of Detroit won all 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds, they then swept through the "Sweet 16" Playoffs to take the 2005 Tampa Early Bird Special Championship. it was the first Bicycle Tournament won by Louis. Geoffrey has won several past tournaments including $2000 in the
 Detroit 2004 Bicycle Tournament.

The Early Bird Special was part of the Bicycle Playing Cards
 Tampa Bid Whist Weekend  held May 20-21, 2005.
