Bracket Notes: First time South Plainfield reached the GMCT Final Four. Also, first GMCT Championship for Piscataway after Chiefs joined the GMC for the 1988-89 season. Chiefs had won back to back MCT titles in 1976 and 1977. All games were played at neutral sites including semifinals and championship at the Rutgers Athletic Center.
