Lester & Tom from the Bull City Slammers Bid Whist Club of Durham, North Carolina won all 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to take 1st Place in the "Friday Night Special" Tournament. The event was part of the Bicycle Playing Cards DC/Baltimore Grand Prix Bid Whist Weekend held April 23, 2004. Besides being good at Bid Whist, Lester & Tom's Bull City Slammers Club are a Motorcycle/Bid Whist Club.
