 The "Friday Night Special"
Geoffrey from the Elite Whist Society Of Detroit & Etta from Los Angeles won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to take 1st Place in the "Friday Night Special" Tournament. This team came to the tournament looking for a partner. They met each other and went all the way to the championship. The event was part of the Bicycle Playing Cards Chicago Grand Prix Bid Whist Weekend held May 14-15, 2004.  Congratulations to Geoffrey & Etta.
