Pat of L.A. and Shirley of D.C. won two of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds, they then swept through the "Sweet 16" Playoffs to take the 2005 Los Angeles Early Bird Special Championship.
They met for the first time the day of the tournament, and their skills must have meshed, as they went all the way to the championship.
